The long-term co-operation between the project partners FH Braunschweig/Wolfenbüttel and the Chamber of Trade, Braunschweig in offering common seminars provides thereby the necessary experience for a continued education program, which is related to practice and offers scientifically consolidated knowledge.
We would like to introduce both institutions briefly.
The Fachhochschule Braunschweig/Wolfenbüttel is a University of Applied Sciences whose curriculum encompasses most of the classical academic disciplines such as technology, social, law, health and economic sciences. Being an up-to-date service enterprise for application-oriented and forward-looking studies our University offers a wide range of ambitious continuing education, applied research and development. Our attractive campuses are set within the beautiful countryside between the Harz mountains and the Lüneburg Heath.
Academic studies at one of our four campus locations Braunschweig, Salzgitter, Wolfenbüttel or Wolfsburg are offering ideal prerequisites to prospective students for their future careers. Interships and stays abroad are guarantying an academic education closely connected to technical and vocational practise. With approximately 7500 studying the university belongs to the largest colleges of further education in Lower Saxony.
The department of law was established in the year 2000 at the location Wolfenbüttel. Already in 1999 the department of law was successful with offering diploma study courses like “Business Law” and the “law of information technology and communication”, which also serve as a practice related Answer to the crisis of the education of lawyers at the common Universities. With the new bachelor study courses “Business law” and the consecutive master study course “International Law and Business” the Brunswick European Law School runs its course.
